Happy new years party people. 2007 was a great year for hip hop and music in general. There were some highs, and some lows. We lost a few good men and some great new artists popped up. Our boy Spice one took a few near fatal bullets and our boy Pimp C, rest his soul passed long before his time. Also Kanye West lost his mother in a tragic plastic surgery recovery gone bad.
Janet Jackson dropped one of the hottest 'leaked' tracks ever with 'Feedback'. 50 Cent was accused of dating half the females in R&B as well as losing a monster sales competition to Kanye West.
My man Soulja Boy rocked the world with his Ring tone Rap track 'Crank That' which has managed to not only create a new bread of music, it has also unraveled a new dance!
In non hip hop related news, Britney Spears Sister, Jamie Lynn Spears has continued the family tradition of being a whore by getting knocked up at the tender age of 16 by a very wholesome church going 19 year old.
If there was a year for any rapper, I'd have to give the award to Lil' Wayne; that man has been featured on so many tracks, its unbelievable. If you hadn't heard of Wayne, before 2007, I'm positive you know who the man is now, and if you don't you must be living up under a rock.
There has been many other happenings this year as well, but if I was to sum everything up, you'd probably stop reading and head somewhere else, so I'll keep this short and sweet!
Hope everybody had a great 2007 and have nothing but positive endeavors planned for 2008!

Big surprise, today's rumor involves Lil' Wayne who can't seem to get his ass out of the lime light! Anyway's, rumor has it that he proposed to the beautiful Lauren London from the recently released film 'This Christmas'.
Lauren has been spotted with a giant rock on her finger, however she is an actress, and could probably afford to buy herself one if she so desired.
I'm sure the truth behind the rumor will find its way into the limelight soon, hopefully another hottie doesn't disappear into the abyss and Wayne leaves her astray for the rest of us boys.

If you havn't heard it, I've embedded it below! Enjoy!

It is official, 50 cent is starting a beef with Lil'Wayne, and why? He doesn't have anything better to do! This mini interview is taken from the next issue of King magazine!.
You went after Lil’ Wayne on “Part-Time Lover” with the rhyme “You make me want to kiss you like Baby do Wayne/And make you call me Daddy like Baby do Wayne/Damn, that shit sounds gay, it’s insane/I guess that’s the price a lil’ nigga pay for fame.” What’s that about?
I’ve already baited Lil’ Wayne to come on out so I can break his little neck. My consistency will break his neck the same way LL’s consistency broke Canibus’. Lil’ Wayne is a talented rapper but not a great songwriter. He has had great verses on other people’s projects, but they were not his complete ideas over production that he picked. He’s not marrying the right production and lyrics to make classic hit records.
But if he’s not coming after you, why bother him?
Why not break his neck? I got nothing else to do. If they set you up to believe you are in a situation you’re not actually in yet, then you go out there… See, he’s saying what he’s saying to Jay because Jay didn’t respond to him. I’m giving him something to work off. Is that one of 50’s laws? Yeah. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense.
