Matthew Knowles Shopping Around For Buyers

For those of you who never saw the headlines over the weekend, Jay-Z and Beyonce finally tied the knot and got married.  I know all you ladies are thinking... awwwwww, so special, while all the dudes are shedding a tear over the fact they will never get a shot at Beyonce. 

Anyways, Beyonce's dad never wasted any time after the wedding and is already shopping around for a buyer to snatch up the sole rights to their wedding pictures. 

Seems like everything Jay-Z and Beyonce touches these days turns to gold, so I'm quite sure its safe to assume these wedding pictures will bring in a pretty penny!

Jay-Z Lands 150 Million Deal

Sources are saying that Jay-Z recently scored a 150 million dollar deal with Live Nation.  Jay-z still owes Def Jam Records one more album before his contract expires so I'm guessing he will have to finish up one more album before carrying on over to the new deal.

Anyway's, Live Nation is supposed to handle everything related to Jay-z; his music, his tours, his endorsements and other things produced by Roc Nation.

Jay-Z has numerous business ventures on his own that I'm sure this deal will more than support.  Some of his ventures include the 40/40 club, his fashion line and of course his music.

The Jigga man is clearly cut out for business far beyond the scope of music.  Even if he is yet to be billionaire, with deals like this, it is most definitely in the cards for him one of these days.

James Blunt Goes Hip Hop

Ok, I might be exaggerating this one a little bit, James Blunt has not become a rapper, however he is going to be featured on an upcoming track.  The rapper sampling the chorus and piano of James Blunt is none other than Jay-Z protege Beanie Siegel.

Mr. Blunt will be features an an upcoming Beanie Siegel track called 'Dear Self'.  It features pieces of Blunt's song Bravery which appeared on his debut album Back To Bedlam.

Jay-Z And Beyonce Engaged?

If there is a more tightly kept secretive relationship in hip hop than  Jay-Z and Beyonce, please tell me!

On Jay-Z's new album 'American Gangster', he apparently refers to Beyonce as his fiancee.  If what he is says is true, good for the two of them.  It's about time they get married damnit!

I wouldn't hold my breath on Jay-Z actually meaning that Beyonce is his fiancee, as Jay is notorious for his lyrical trickery!

LL Cool J Records Jay-z Diss

The rumor of the week for October 2007 is that LL Cool J has allegedly recorded a track dissing Jay-Z.  The track apparently uses the beat from the song 'Takeover'. 

Jay has made it clear prior to the so called unreleased diss track that he will give LL Cool J some room to vent since he is one of the all time greats.  However if LL keeps on pushing in Jay-Z's  direction he is going to snap back like a pitt bull.

I'm excited to see which direction this potentially heated rap battle heads!

Timbaland Wants To Dual Dr. Dre

It looks like the Kanye West vs 50 Cent rivalry has sparked interest of other artists looking to increase their future sales. 

The next inline appears to be the giant current known as Timbaland.  He wants to go up against his mentor/big brother Dr.Dre.

Here is what Timbaland told MTV.com: "I gotta go against my daddy," he said Friday from the ABC studios in New York, where the super-producer is filming a guest spot for the soap opera "One Life to Live." "I call [Dr.] Dre my daddy. To make it be some talk, I gotta go against my big brother. He's my big brother. [Who are] the two  quarterbacks? Peyton Manning and Eli? When they have to go against each other, it's like, 'Do I really wanna go against my big brother?' Dre is my mentor. That would drive people to the stores. Like, 'Oh snap, Tim and Dre!' That would be big. I asked Jay-Z who he would go against. He said, 'The only person I would go against is my other homeboy: my friend Eminem.' "

This sales tactic is going to get old fast if this is the new method to sell records!
